The Sixth Flash
[If I was able to finish it,] it was going to be an epistle that would expound, again in fifteen or twenty degrees of thought, the significant reality of many signs that the sentence لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظ۪يمِ (a) expresses.
Since this flash, just like the Fifth Flash, was related to the degrees that I felt in my nafs and the levels that I witnessed in my spiritual actions by means of remembrance (dhikr) and contemplation (fikr), and since it was related to spiritual tasting (dhawk) and spiritual state (ḥal) rather than knowledge and reality (‘ilm and ḥaqīqah), it was deemed suitable to be written not in the flashes of reality but maybe written later; however, it wasn’t written later either.
